Body Discovered near Horse Lake Road

Chelan County Sheriff's office received a report at around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday that a body was located off of Horse Lake Road off the roadway.

A group was walking in the area when one of their dogs discovered part of the remains. 

"Detectives responded from the sheriff's office and on scene right now, investigating," said Chief Jason Reinfeld.

The sheriff's office also called in Washington State Patrol Crime Lab to process the scene.
