Brush Fire Threatens Grant County Area

There's a Level 2 "Get Set" evacuation notice for the Jones Bay community in Grant County.

The order was issued late last night because of a growing wildfire in the area near State Route 155 southwest of Grand Coulee.

The Northeast Interagency Coordination Center reports the fire covers about 200 acres and is currently uncontrolled or contained.

State Route 155 is closed at U.S. Highway 2 because of the wildfire.
