COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Chelan and Douglas counties. According to data from the Chelan-Douglas Health District, the two-county area's case rate is 2,726 per 100,000 people over 14 days, up from 2,545 last week and 2,224 near the start of the year.

In fact, the current case rate is almost six times what it was at this time last year (472 per 100,000).

Hospitalizations remain steady, with 14 residents hospitalized. No new deaths have been reported.
