The Chelan County Sheriff's Office arrested two people on multiple felony charges and recovered two mountain bikes worth more than $6,000 Saturday night.

"Deputies had been contacted by a victim of a bike theft, said a friend of theirs had seen the suspect vehicle in the Plain area," said Chief Jason Reinfeld.

Deputies obtained a license plate, contacted the owner and the owner was helpful in assisting deputies track down the suspect. Deputies arrested Lucas Jensen, 26 year old from Lake Wenatchee. He booked him for first degree theft and trespass.

"He no longer had the bikes, he'd made a transaction and they were able to track down where the bicycles were at in Dryden," said Reinfeld.

Deputies arrested George Connor, 35 year old Dryden man, for being in possession of the stolen bicycles.
