Chelan & Douglas County PUD Commissioners Selected for Leadership Roles in State Utility Association

The Washington Public Utility Districts Association recently announced the election of its leadership officers for 2021-2022, including a Chelan PUD commissioner and Douglas PUD commissioner. Chelan PUD Commissioner Garry Arseneault will serve as vice president and Douglas County PUD Commissioner Ron Skagen was elected treasurer.

"Gary has played leadership roles in the past in the association. Gary has been active in the association and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position," said Liz Anderson, deputy executive director. "Ron has also played many leadership roles with the association in the past."

The association is made up of 27 of the state's public utility districts as well as one joint action agency, Energy Northwest.
