The Chelan Valley Housing Trust was awarded $15,750 from the Community Foundation of North Central Washington's temporary Nonprofit Reemergence Grant program. The temporary program was to help nonprofits through the COVID-19 crisis.

"Our fundraising was certainly impacted by COVID-19 and we're really grateful to have this uplift," said Rachael Goldie, executive administrator.

The CVHT fully depends on private and public donation.

The grant funds will go toward building homes, such as applying the finishing touches to the Emerson Village development. That development is expected to be completed by January 2021.
