Dog Attack Friday

Animal Care & Control are asking for the community's help in identifying a dog involved in an attack Friday.

According to a release from the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, Animal Care & Control received a report of a dog attacking another dog in the 1500 block of Pershing Street in Wenatchee at about 7:15 pm August 14th.

The owners of a small Pomeranian reported a dark brown pit-type dog approached their dog and then proceeded to attack it. The unknown dog then reportedly ran down Pershing Street, in the direction of Maple Street.

The Pomeranian was taken to a local veterinary office, where it is in critical condition. If you have any possible information to help identify the dog, or its owner, please contact Animal Care & Control at 509-662-9577, option 1.
