East Wenatchee Police Officer Stops to Refuel, Spots Person Sitting in Stolen Car, Makes Arrest

East Wenatchee Police say it’s not a good idea to hang out in a stolen car at the same place where police gas up their patrol cars.

They say one of their officers spotted a stolen car with a person inside while fueling up at Ace Hardware on Grant Road over the weekend.

Additional patrol cars were brought in, and the person was arrested for possession of a stolen car out of Spokane

Twenty-one-year-old Zachary Craig was taken to jail shortly before 1 am Saturday morning.
