Mental health can be a tricky topic to navigate, especially for adolescents, so Ephrata High School Honor Society reached out to Grant County Integrated Services Therapist Diane Truscott to conduct a public mental health workshop. Students, parents, teachers and the community are invited to attend the workshop in EHS library at 5 on Thursday.

"The main topics will be related to teen issues," said Truscott. "It'll be issues related to drugs, dating, peer pressure, online bullying and any topics that the teens find interesting."

According to Truscott, honor society president Ruthanne Yawney requested the therapist to focus on issues that prompt mental health concerns to surface. There will also be community resources provided for those looking for the right direction to take the first step in addressing mental health concerns.

"I think parents and teens just don't know where to go when there is a problem, they just don't what to do or what's the next step," said Truscott.
