Former Moses Lake Police K9 Featured in TV Documentary Series ‘Body Cam’
The Moses Lake Police Department is back in the spotlight this morning after being featured in the documentary series "Body Cam" last night on Investigation Discovery.
The network says the show features routine police calls that spiral out of control with dangerous violence caught on officer body cameras.
Last night's show features Moses Lake K9 officer Chief, who was shot in the eye during a chase in which a robbery suspect was shot and killed by police.
Chief made a recovery, but was retired from the force. He was shot one time in the left eye and sustained injuries to his face and throat.
You can stream the TV show on the Investigation Discovery website.
The Moses Lake officer involved in the shooting was Nick Stewart. He shot 22-year-old Jose Rivera after a lengthy pursuit.
