Grant County Sheriff Plans Informational Meeting about Tax Proposition

This Thursday evening, Sheriff Tom Jones will hold an informational meeting for Grant County voters to learn more about the Propostion 1 Law and Justice Sales Tax. The meeting will begin at 6 at the Grant County Fire District 7 Station 1 located along state Route 28.

"This just gives the public the chance to come in and ask questions and get educated on what the proposition is and where the money is being spent. And how they can help us out by passing this proposition," said Sheriff Jones.

Sheriff Jones also said he would be rotating amongst the city councils in all eight of the communities that have Grant County law enforcement agencies.

Proposition 1 Law and Justice Sales Tax has been placed on the Nov. 5th general election ballot.
