The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is now crediting one of its canines for tracking down a teenage burglary suspect in Moses Lake.

Deputies went to a residential area (2400 block of Hamilton Road Northeast) on a report of a burglary in progress at about 6 pm Sunday evening.

They say it was there that Deputy Tyson Voss with K9 partner Edo located at teenage suspect hiding in some nearby shrubs.

The 15-year-old was taken to the Grant County Youth Services Center on suspicion of 2nd Degree Burglary, while a second suspect was not found.

The Sheriff's Department showcased Canine Edo and the deputy on their Facebook page.

Deputies report that a property owner alerted them to two males at a storage shed on Hamilton Road. Deputies were already in the area investigating a previous burglary and were quickly on scene.
