June home sales in the Wenatchee Valley were down 5% year over year according to the latest numbers from Pacific Appraisal Associates.

Despite the fewer sales, or perhaps because of it, prices continue to go up with the median sales price for the month up 2% to more than $350,000 and the average sales price for the year up 8% to nearly $396,000.

The number of homes on the market also continues to drop, down 11% from May and 31% from June of last year.
