Internet, Cell Service Getting Back to Normal After Pockets Reported Lost in North Central Washington

People in Douglas and Grant counties could have internet and cell phone service back intact after widespread outages were reported Wednesday.

Douglas County PUD reported crews were working to repair fiber optic lines that were dug up near its weigh station in Palisades.

The Grant County PUD reported damage to its fiber line Wednesday, saying services would likely be restored by 1 am Thursday.

 Douglas PUD said on social media that its crews would be working until midnight, and there were no outages reported by the utility as of early Thursday morning.
