Larson Shooting Victim Identified

The victim in Tuesday night's fatal shooting in the Larson community north of Moses Lake has been identified as 21-year-old Phoenix Johnson by the Spokane Medical Examiner.

Grant County Sheriff's PIO Kyle Foreman said the shooting occurred between two vehicles in the area of Schilling and Carswell Drives.

"The vehicle where Mr. Johnson was shot and killed ended up rolling to a stop against a curb in front of a house. Paramedics and firefighters attempted to save his life. He was shipped to Spokane via helicopter and eventually died of his injuries," Foreman stated.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident to try and find either the suspect vehicle or those inside.
