Limited Flexibility if You Miss Your Second COVID Vaccine Shot
Chelan-Douglas Health District Health Officer Dr. Malcolm Butler says more people are getting vaccinated, it's important to remember to get your second shot, but there is some flexibility if you miss your appointment.
"Optimally we would give you the second dose between four days before and four days after the date you were told to come in, but if for whatever reason that doesn't work out we are allowed to vaccinate you up to six weeks, or 42 days later."
He recommends calling the location where you got your first vaccine shot and ask them how to schedule your second shot.
