National Weather Service Issues Red Flag Warning for Saturday

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning Saturday from noon until 10:00 pm for the Northern Columbia Basin and the Central Cascade Valleys.

The region could see winds over 30 miles per hour with humidity levels only at 11 to 23 percent. The NWS says those conditions, combined with highs in the 90s, can bring the potential for rapid fire growth through dry grasses and other fuels.
