The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information on two suspects who robbed the Pateros quick mart, Super Stop, at gunpoint Sunday evening. Deputies were dispatched to the Super Stop at about 10:23 p.m. to a report of a robbery.

"The clerk who was alone in the quickie mart was confronted by a male and a female," said Sheriff Tony Hawley. "The surveillance video doesn't much of them, but it does clearly show the male drew a revolver from the backpack he had and handed it to the female and held the clerk at gunpoint."

The clerk was forced to open the cash register, the pair took the cash and fled. Nobody was hurt.

Sheriff Hawley emphasized the importance of locating the duo since the female is armed and the situation could've taken a much worse turn had she pulled the trigger.

"We're concerned about the threat of danger with the female suspect that has the revolver with the hammer cocked to the back and pointed at the clerk, could be a very different scenario and then she pull the trigger," said Sheriff Hawley.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who has information to contact them at 509-422-7232.
