School buses in Othello are now displaying the number 4 with a ribbon after the death of a Pasco school bus driver.

A 35-year-old man is accused of entering the bus full of elementary school kids and killing 72-year-old driver Richard Lenhart with a knife on September 24.

A number of Washington school districts have outfitted their buses with the number 4 and a yellow ribbon to pay tribute to Lenhart, who drove the Route 4 for the Pasco district.

The Othello district is sending buses and staff members to join a parade of school buses honoring Lenhart on Saturday in Pasco.

The Pasco Police Department says Joshua Davis, 35, of Richland is the suspect involved in Lenhart’s death.

He's accused of stabbing Lenhart multiple times in front of 35 students that Lenhart was preparing to take them home from Longfellow Elementary.

Police say Lenhart had refused to give Davis a ride.
