Wenatchee Valley Animal Care & Control is seeking information on the shooting of a pet dog Thursday night around 8:00 PM, near Orondo and Alaska Street in Wenatchee.

Dawn Davies, Executive Dir. Wenatchee Valley Humane Society said a couple walking their dog found a small grey, male, well groomed, Tsih Tzu type mix dog severely injured and bleeding.  The dog was taken to the shelter and evaluated by a staff veterinarian.  The dog appeared to have a broken jaw and two gun shots and an exit wound and was bleeding profusely.  Due to the severity of the injuries, the dog was humanely euthanized.
