The Chelan County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a dirt bike that was taken August 21st in Chelan.

Corporal Lee Risdon said the owner was riding his motorcycle home Saturday evening when he ran out of gas in the 600 block of North Bradley Street.

"After running out of gas, he decided to stash his motorcycle and cover it up with bushes on the side of the road." detailed Risdon, "He returned the next morning only to find that the motorcycle was gone."

The motorcycle is a Blue 2009 Yamaha YZ450 valued between $3,500 and $4,500. Anyone with information is asked to call Rivercom at 663-9911.
