The single occupant of a vehicle, a 27 year old Grand Coulee woman, died after a 1997 Chevy Blazer rolled over on SR 155, 3 miles south of Electric City, in Grant County Saturday afternoon. Tavian Beasley died at Coulee Medical Center.

According to Trooper John Bryant, troopers were dispatched a little after 1 p.m. and state park rangers were already on scene. The vehicle was a state parks owned vehicle.

The Chevy Blazer was traveling southbound on SR 155 when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and went on the southbound gravel shoulder. The driver overcorrected and came back across the centerline into the northbound shoulder, overcorrected and the vehicle rolled.

"Unfortunately, because the driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt, the driver was ejected and the vehicle came to rest on its wheels facing the road," said Trooper Bryant.

Beasley was a state parks employee.
