Congresswoman Kim Schrier made multiple stops in the Wenatchee Valley Thursday, including a visit to the mass vaccination site at the Town Toyota Center to tour the facility and administer COVID-19 vaccine.

Schrier said the site is running like a finely tuned machine and she was happy to help out.

"It just feels good to be part of the process." explained Schrier, "You can be a distant part of the process from Washington D.C. and pushing for financing in programs to get these things rolled out, but to feel like you can be involved on the ground putting shots in arms, that's a very tangible, almost emotional way of being part of this collective, societal effort to get us past this virus."

Schrier added that if folks want business back open, life back to normal and transmission of all COVID variants stopped in their tracks then all eligible people need to get vaccinated. She stated she understands a person who's nervous regarding the vaccine and it's important we listen to what it is that's concerning them.
