Watershed 2021 is coming to the Gorge Amphitheater in George this Friday through Sunday and the Grant County Sheriff's Office is offering tips on how to enjoy the show as safely as possible.

With temperatures in the triple digits this weekend, PIO Kyle Foreman said the biggest thing to remember is to stay hydrated and don't wait until you feel sick or thirsty to deal with the problem.

"Don't take any drinks or drugs from anyone in the crowd. Open your own containers of alcohol and don't let someone do it for you. We want everyone to have a really good time at the Gorge." explained Foreman, "If you notice anything that's out of place or you need help, go to the medical tent or find security or one of the sheriff's deputies."

Other tips include:

-Travel with a group and make sure you've got a friend with you at all times.
-Lock valuables in your car's trunk instead of leaving things visible through the car's windows or in your tent.
-All front seat belts must be in use before anyone can ride in the bed of a truck.
-Expect long delays when traveling to and from the event.

The Sheriff's Office also has a substation inside the campground next to the main entrance for anyone needing assistance.

Last year, Watershed 2020 was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
