The Chelan County Regional SWAT team had to execute a search warrant at a residence on Terminal Avenue recently.

Wenatchee Captain Brian Chance says the SWAT action stemmed from a shots fired call in the 1400 block of South Mission Street early in the morning of November 16th.

After patrol officers developed some suspect information, SWAT was asked to execute the search warrant in the 100 block of Terminal Avenue. Nearby residents complained of a loud boom during the operation, presumably from a door breach or flash bang.

"A vehicle believed to be involved in the original shooting incident was recovered at that location and seized for a search warrant." explained Chance, "At this point no arrests have been made with direct connection to the shooting incident that was originally reported."

No arrests have been made and the incident is still under investigation by Wenatchee Police detectives.
