AppleSox Head Coach Mitch Darlington has led Wenatchee to the postseason in each of the last two campaigns, becoming the first AppleSox head coach to accomplish that feat. Darlington’s 64 wins through two seasons are already third-most in AppleSox history and 21 away from moving into second place.

This is the 15th time in franchise history that the AppleSox have made it to the postseason and the third time in the last four years after missing the playoffs from 2014-18. Head coach Mitch Darlington has qualified for the postseason for the second time in as many years at the helm, becoming the first AppleSox head coach in AppleSox history to make the postseason in each of his first two seasons.

The AppleSox sit 2.5 games ahead of the Victoria HarbourCats for first place in the North Division in the second half after Victoria's loss to the Kelowna Falcons, 10-0, on Sunday afternoon. Wenatchee also has the top overall record in the entire West Coast League at 35-13, a game above the 34-14 Corvallis Knights.

Carson Ohland delivered a walkoff RBI infield single in the bottom of the 13th to give the Wenatchee AppleSox a 5-4 win over the Edmonton Riverhawks on Friday night at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.

With the win and Bellingham’s loss to Victoria, the AppleSox sit a full game ahead of the Bells for first place in the North Division. If the AppleSox match or best the number of wins that the Bells get in the next three games, then Wenatchee will win the North Division’s First Half title and clinch a postseason berth.

The Wenatchee AppleSox' five-game winning streak came to an end on Tuesday night to the Port Angeles Lefties.

The Wenatchee AppleSox scored five times in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat the Kelowna Falcons, 10-7, on Saturday night at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.

Cam Hoiland struck out nine hitters over six innings and the Wenatchee AppleSox defeated the Victoria HarbourCats, 3-1, on Sunday afternoon at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.
