The number of homes available for purchase on the market in the Wenatchee Valley dropped 72% year over year according to data released Monday by Pacific Appraisal Associates.
This despite prices continuing to rise with the average sale this year going for nearly $459,000
The median home sales price for the Wenatchee Valley hit $400,000 in April according to numbers released by Pacific Appraisal Associates.
The median price is the midpoint where there are equal numbers of sales above and below.
The average price this year is more than $438,000
Home sales in the Wenatchee Valley were up last month compared to March of 2020, as was the median sales price, both increasing 22% according to data released by Pacific Appraisal Associates.
They list the average sales price as a $437-thousand
Wenatchee Valley home sales in February were down 23% compared to the same month in 2020 though prices continue to rise.
According to data from Pacific Appraisal Associates the average sales price in 2021 is nearly $432,000.
Last year it was just under $360,000
Wenatchee Valley home sales in January were down 25% compared to 2020 and the number of homes for sale was down by two-thirds according to data released by Pacific Appraisal Associates.
The average sales price was up to nearly $435,000 which is 22% higher than last year's average possibly due to the tighter market
Home sales in the Wenatchee Valley for the month of July were up 12% compared to last year with the median sales price for the year also up to $355,000 according to numbers provided by Pacific Appraisal Associates.
This despite the number of active listings is down 57% from last year and new homes on the market is down 14%
