Town Toyota Center Regional Vaccination Site Prepping for Booster Surge

The regional mass vaccination site at the Town Toyota Center will begin accepting those needing their second COVID-19 vaccination shot next week.

CDHD Administrator Luke Davies is asking anyone who has received their first shot to please return three weeks later to the same place you were vaccinated at the same time and day of the week.

"I believe that we're going to have them in a split line. They work kind of how the TSA works in a sense that if you need a second dose, you get a fast pass. They also have a shorter waiting period so we should be able to get through those fairly quickly." Davies stated, "We'll have signs ready, making it easy for people to navigate their first or second dose."

Davies added they are receiving enough doses to maintain its current level of first and second vaccinations. Patients seeking a second dose will be prioritized.

Only the Pfizer vaccine is administered at the Town Toyota Center site.
