Vaccine demand is losing momentum and the Chelan Douglas Health District is preparing for a transition in strategy with vaccination sites. The Town Toyota Center will continue on through the end of May, with opportunity to continue if people continue to come in for the vaccine.

"We're going to be switching to a much more mobile and nimble vaccination campaign," said Luke Davies, administrator. "Part of this is being nimble, being able to scale up or scale down depending on what the needs of the community are and being responsible with the resources that we have."

The Town Toyota Center site could reopen if a third round of booster vaccine doses becomes necessary.

Over 50% of the two county's eligible 16 and over population has been vaccinated.
