Two Vehicle Collision on Easy Street/U.S. 2 Intersection Impedes Traffic Monday Morning

A two vehicle injury collision occurred Monday morning at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Easy Street near Olds Station.

A mail truck was traveling southbound on Easy Street when it collided in the intersection with a pickup and trailer going eastbound on U.S. 2.

Wenatchee Officer Donny Graves said law enforcement and fire personnel blocked all eastbound traffic for about 30 minutes as they worked in the intersection.

Neither driver was cited on scene, and the police are still investigating. Drugs or alcohol are not thought to be a factor.

The driver of the mail truck was transported to Central Washington Hospital to be evaluated. The pickup driver was uninjured.
