Wenatchee School District announced that despite school is starting remotely, students' immunizations must be up to date. Due to changes in the laws surrounding immunizations, students from the Wenatchee School District that are starting school August 26 need to have those up to date.

"Our nurses are very skilled at making sure our students have those immunizations up to date and checking in with families," said Diana Haglund, communications director.

Students whose immunizations are expiring, parents can visit Columbia Valley Community Health or Confluence Health walk in clinics during morning hours for the service. Local pharmacies including Safeway and Fred Meyer are offering vaccines as well.

Safeway Pharmacy offers vaccines to children 5 years and older.
Fred Meyer pharmacy offers vaccines to children 6 months and older.
Walgreens Pharmacy offers vaccines to children 4 years and older.
Walmart Pharmacy offers vaccines to children 8 years and older.
