Wellness Place Rolls Out Online Pet Contest Fundraiser

Local nonprofit, Wellness Place, is inviting the community to participate in the 'Wags for Wellness Place' fundraiser in an effort to support North Central Washington cancer patients. The entry fee is $5 and for folks to vote on a pet's photo there is a $1 donation vote.

The contest will run from May 1 through 22 with three pet photos chosen for awards and prizes. Three additional photos will be chosen for the 'judge's choice'.

"We have some special guest judges joining our contest. Jackie and Clay, their mom Kari, passed away from breast cancer last month," said Julie Lindholm, executive director.
