Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce Enhances Voters’ Knowledge

Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce is offering a resource for voters wanting to get a better grasp of local from East Wenatchee and Wenatchee candidates before Election Day, November 5. The General Election Voters Guide, in both English and Spanish, can be located at www.wenatchee.org.

"The voters guide gives a quick glance to the mindset to the candidates: what is for them the most important issue, why they're the right person for the job and, since we're the Chamber of Commerce, how would the business community benefit under their leadership," said Sebastian Moraga, communications specialist.

The voters guide contains answers to these three questions from mayoral, city council, school district, fire district, water and sewer district candidates. There is also an added bonus of featuring an an article about Douglas County Superior Court Judge, Brian C. Huber who is running unopposed.

"It is a quick and easy way to see what these folks are about," said Moraga. "Why they're running, why they think they're the right person for the job, without having to go one by one talking to them."
