The North Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce recently announced the formation of the Hispanic Business Council. The council will debut in 2020.

"This will benefit the community because it will fill the void that the ceasing of operations the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is leaving behind," Sebastian Moraga, Communication Specialist. "It will also give the opportunity for the members of the community to start at the ground level of something, with the backing, with the knowledge of the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce."

The North Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will cease operations at the end of this year, however there will be a farewell celebration on December 20 at 4:30.

"Our Valley Our Future suggested that one of the steps in order to improve the quality of life for the quality of business in this area would be to unify the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce so that's where this idea germanted from," said Moraga.

The WVCC Board of Directors will appoint the members of the Hispanic Business Council, which will function as part of the WVCC.
