The Wenatchee School District is organizing summer programs to use the break to help bridge learning gaps that may have surfaced as a result of the primarily remote school year. Wenatchee High School is working on 'Bridge Programs' for math and English additional support.

"We're also looking at opportunities for middle school as well. We have a large opportunity for our elementary students," said Superintendent Paul Gordon. "We recognize there is a need there, we recognize the importance of summer and getting us ready to begin the fall because we're all going to be back in the fall."

The district is expected to release more information on specifics after spring break.
