The Wenatchee World Complex, a collection of three buildings on North Mission Street that sit on about an acre, was put up for sale Tuesday.

According to the Wenatchee World, the buildings' sale will not impact the Wenatchee World's publication. Woods Investment Company LLC, which is made up of members of the Woods family and owns the buildings, is asking for $2.4 million. The Wenatchee World only leases some space in the building, as the company is now owned by Wick Communications and doesn't have the same space needs as previously.

Rufus Woods, namesake and grandfather of the current columnist Rufus Woods, and his twin brother Ralph built the first building of what would be the Wenatchee World Complex in 1926.
