Wenatchee Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services has put out their annual application for vendors to offer concessions at city parks for the 2021 season.

Director Dave Erickson says the application can be found on the city's website.

"If it's food, they have to follow health district guidelines. There's a number of different requirements for canopies that are prescribed by the fire marshal. Also we tend to lean vendors that support the mission of the parks, something that you would find a park to enhance it."

He provided an example that a vendor that's supporting a particular activity that one of their parks features.

He also stressed that they are very open to the kinds of concessions people can sell.

"This is an opportunity for people, if they're interested in doing something like that, to find out a little bit more and we'll help through the process. ... Right now we have a vendor down at Centennial Park one day a week and she does embroidery and masks and things like that. Food concessions are down at Methow."

These are short-term opportunities with setup and teardown on the same day.
