Some Wenatchee Wading Pools, Splash Pads Closed Temporarily

The City of Wenatchee Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department says the Rotary Park splash pad and the Washington Park wading pool are currently closed due to mechanical issues.

The hope is to have it up sometime this week.

The Kiwanis Methow Park wading pool is open, but has subject to vandalism in recent days.

Director Dave Erickson says someone took the drain cover off and packed the drain line full of rocks which caused some damage.

It is open 1-5 Monday through Friday.

The Pennsylvania Park wading pool is operating fine, also open 1-5.
