Folks in the giving spirit after giving thanks on Thursday have an opportunity to give back to its community this Saturday at the Arts and Crafts Faire. From 11-6, there will be 20 vendors selling handmade goods, a raffle with prizes over $300 and even a visit from Santa during a three hour window, 11-3.

The event benefits the Personal Hygiene Bags that will be distributed at the Salvation Army's Annual Christmas Dinner.

"We take for granted we have a warm house, blankets, razors and shampoo. These folks don't necessarily have access to these things and as little as it is, it's important to them," said Karen Cunningham, event coordinator.

Those that can't make it Saturday, can donate personal hygiene items throughout the week at Clearwater Saloon 3-8.

"Right now our most needed items are laundry detergent (the pods), deodorant, dish soap and brushes," said Cunningham.

The faire will be at Club Clearwater 838 Valley Mall Parkway East Wenatchee.
