Chelan County Community Development Director Resigns for WDFW Position

Chelan County Community Development Director Jim Brown is resigning from his position to move into a role with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. His last day with the county is set for January 31.

"I know the commissioners, all three of them, have come out and thanked Jim for his time with the county and for his impact he has made on community development," said Jill FitzSimmons, public information officer.

Community development department focuses on a variety of tasks, including the short term rental code.

Commissioners will determine the next steps in the replacement process for a new director at the first session of 2022, on January 3.
