The City of East Wenatchee is looking for two new members for its Planning Commission.

The seven member volunteer body is in charge of reviewing long-range planning and land use matters.

Planning Manager Curtis Lillquist said the position is perfect for someone who is interested in helping to shape how the city is going to grow and change in the future.

"They look at our 20-year comprehensive plan and our development regulations and make recommendations to the city council," explained Lillquist.

The advisory board is appointed by the mayor and meets once a month. Applicants need to either live in East Wenatchee or within three miles of the city limits, or have a business or property in the city.
