East Wenatchee Police Looking for Person of Interest in Junior High Incident
East Wenatchee Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man accused of inappropriately contacting a student at Eastmont Junior High School earlier this week.
Chief Rick Johnson said 35-year-old Kenneth Allen Crabtree was seen delivering a cell phone to a 13-year-old student by an EJHS staff member. The staff member then notified school officials and the police were called.
"At this time we're still investigating the nature of the relationship between these two individuals and exactly what the purpose of the cell phone delivery was," explained Johnson.
Crabtree left the scene before police arrived but returned the next day to get the cell phone back.
He is believed to still be in the area living out of a white, box van. He's also associated with a 1988 Ford Crown Victoria.
