Eastmont School District intends to hold its graduation ceremony outside June 4th, although the committee in charge of the event is still developing a plan that factors in capacity and the current safety standards.

Assistant Superintendent Matt Charlton said planners are aware of the Governor's recent guidance on vaccinated-only sections.

"Our superintendent (Garn Christensen) has reviewed that and is considering that, but the details of that are still being worked out. Whatever we do, we're trying to be as least restrictive on individuals' personal beliefs on that as possible." explained Charlton, "But yet, if we can expand the number of people that can safely watch the ceremony, we're looking at that."

The district is also considering multiple graduation ceremonies, most likely organized by last name.
