The National Weather Service says Eastern Washington could experience some smoky, hazy conditions over the next few days due to fires in California and British Columbia.

The Lava Fire in Northern California has been creating a little bit of haze in the area.

We could see a shift and start getting some smoke from fires north of the border beginning today.

Meteorologists say there should be improvement over the weekend with the smoke lifting and conditions becoming more of a higher elevation haze.
