On Monday, September 16, both local and state level movers and shakers will be attending the dedication of the glossy, new Cashmere Mill District Business Park. Governor Jay Inslee will be present along with a handful of well known figures in the community: Cashmere Mayor Jim Fletcher, Port Commissioner JC Baldwin, Chelan County Commissioner Kevin Overbay and two representatives from the businesses that will call the new business park home for their companies.

"We've got two great tenants; Hurst International from Chatsworth, California and Blue Spirits Distilling which is a local company that's expanding rapidly," said Craig Larsen, Director of Business Development for the Port of Chelan County.

The celebration of the business park and its tenants will began at noon with tours of the buildings to follow, around 12:45.

"We're just excited about the event and the buildings and the good things that have happened already at that site and ones that'll happen in the future," said Larsen.

The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided for those in attendance.
