Grant County Airport Receives Nearly $10 Million in Grant Money

The Grant County Airport was awarded nearly $10 million for runway and runway lighting reconstruction through a U.S. Department of Transportation grant.

It's part of the airport's Master Improvement Plan.

4th District Representative Dan Newhouse says, "This grant is a substantial federal investment that will allow the Port of Moses Lake to continue their efforts to improve one of the largest airfields in the United States."

Other initiatives include doubling the size of the industrial wastewater facility, and constructing new warehouses.
