Grant County Holding Virtual Public Meeting on New Jail

Grant County will hold a virtual public meeting regarding the proposed new jail location on February 22nd.

The current facility has been operating in its present location in Ephrata since January 1986 and is a 188 bed facility.

The new jail would be built at the site of the current work release location, also in Ephrata.

The County is also taking written comments through February 19th.

A WebEx virtual meeting will also be held on February 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Two minutes will be allotted each member of the public, for testimony. To participate in the meeting please call 1(408) 418-9388 and enter the access code (146 649 4010), you will be joined to the meeting in a ‘muted’ status until such time as the meeting allows for public testimony.
