Humane Society Has Upcoming Pet Food Bank

The Wenatchee Valley Humane Society has its monthly pet food bank, Pet Pantry, that is two Saturdays away, July 25 from 11-2 p.m. The Pet Pantry is operated outdoors in the Memorial Garden which is set at the north end of the shelter building.

"You drive in, if you're income qualified we can provide you not only pet food...and any supplies we have had the time too," said Dawn Davies, executive director.

Supplies are donation generated with items available like food bowls and leashes.

"These are some difficult times, unknown times, for a lot of people in our community and that just takes the worrying and stress away about how I'm going to take care of my animal this month," said Davies.
