The 12th Annual Mobile Meals Variety Show takes place Friday, March 6th at the Numerica Performing Arts Center.

Coordinator Marky Bowling says they will have singers, pianists, and dancers among the performers with night capped by a performance by the Apple Blossom Musical cast of Mamma Mia.

"The goal of the event is to get enough money to help support Mobile Meals to keep us going because we do charge for the meals, but we only charge what people can afford to give, therefore we need this extra money to supplement and keep us going."

Bowling says tickets are $12 for most people with kids 13 and under $8.

"It is a really easy, enjoyable way to take the whole family to something and still be helping out the community while you're enjoying the show."

Tickets are available on the Numerica PAC website.

Mobile Meals is a nearly 50-year-old non-profit that delivers food to those who are recovering from surgery, disabled, suffering with a disease or illness, homebound or not fully able care for themselves. Bowling says they are always looking for volunteer drivers, and might be looking to find some new board members soon.
