City of Moses Lake residents have until October 10 to participate in a survey that will be used as a tool for the city while developing an updated comprehensive plan.

The survey is looking to gauge what residents interests, thoughts and concerns are in terms of urban development.

"Their participation will help shape the vision for Moses Lake," said Lynne Lynch, information officer. "We need to hear from you to help make the plan successful."

The comprehensive plan is updated every 20 years. The plan serves as blueprint for the city's planning in terms of day to day investments and decisions.

"It addresses employment trends, housing, economic development, transportation and how best to use our parks and public facilities to support a growing community," said Lynch.

The survey and more information can be found here.
